The Kaizen kit is slick and cool. Or low dollar it and just cut the belt, but the kit will also get you a tad of oil pressure....

It can't be the turbo dropping off at 5k, it's rated for over 60lb/min. The wheels in that thing are same in/exducer sizes as a GT35R, and has much bigger housings (vgt open). I've got a similar manifold deal with my d16, and it just won't make much power beyond 10psi. I can crank it near 20psi, but with marginal gains.

Cliffs: get an form of tubular replacement for the cast manifold section for easy power.

if the vgt is closed it does fall off real hard, my car made more power at 9 tan it did at 22 with the vgt closed up pretty good, FWIW i actually had the wastegate line disconnected and it had so much backpressure it actually forced the wastegate upen at that boost level...

I assure you that it is the fact that we have the vanes closed off all the way..

if i remove the internal wastegate and went for a drive.. it pulls all the way to redline.. just laggy as fuck..

but regardless..

we went a grassroots method for right now until we get a diff internal gate.. i think the one we have is leaking..

so we got some carb springs..

oh baby..

ill eye-ball guess that the vanes are opening up around 10psi as thats when the exhaust note changes dramatically(i understand what you mean aero...lol )

and the weaker carb springs let the vanes open up all the way..

she damn near threw us into a ditch getting torque steer..

we need fat fuck(yes you BDVT) to ship us one of his missions.. :noel:

im slacking on the ripper vids thou... everytime we go out i forgot the camera..

put bus lengths on a evo that laid down 390awhp
