Compression fitting brazed to a barb fitting. Now THAT is hardcore. That has to be frontpaged.

we need to have a front page too.

HAhahaha  Yeah, The Economy does things to you eh?

We have been known to make some wild contraptions and other things...

I posted this before on HMT:

Anyways...   There will be more... trust me...   I have a milk-crate full of turbos, and a handfull of manifolds we can use as-is, make adapter plates, or say $#%@# it and weld the turbo's to the manifolds...  make it easy on ourselves.

Maybe this is the inspiration for the site to have a front page...  It was kinda fun.

I plan on trying to turn one of the 2 left-over exhausts for my Katana750 (I just finished prepping/fixing for getting back on the road) to mount a T3 or better yet a K03 =)

no footage right now... its chain driven, so all for a joke really.... we will be putting a RHB-3 on it for real soon... this way it will really do the trick ;)

so.....   I thought I would update.    I have cut/paste from my post on turbod16, but I will stress;  he drove it untuned, and raced people untuned, so this is why this happened =)  I don't want people to start faulting my tuning for this:

Well, here's the updates...

Loud tick.... took the valvecover off and nothing wrong.

took the head off and:

#1 was .025 below the deck at TDC
#2 was .124 below the deck at TDC
No measurements on 3 and 4, but you get the idea.

He knew it would happen... it would happen if he drove in boost and/or beat on it before I got a chance to put the wideband in....    I even gave him a wideband to put in, and he waited a few weeks to put it in.

That right there, well, tells you why.

But;  alas;  he knows his mistakes... and keeps blaming 6PSUI on a small-ass turbo for blowing his motor, but whet he really is saying is "I know I F'd up and oah well".

So;  we picked up an old D15B7 bottom end from a friend for free.... and we're just fixin on what head we are gonna put on it when we install it.

Pictures?  of-course!

Ahh, Mr Joseph Davis!  I knew I would see you around again!

Those headbolts.... I think those were stock in the ZC.... pretty odd that they have the spiral down them, I guess for strength... I dunno...

Yeah, I never checked back with that thread.  Did I get any interesting replies, or is it not worth my time?

I would say not really worth the time.

That thread tought me one very good thing:  what a "switch" scenario looks like in ASM =)
This leaves SOOOOOOO many holes for apps with different tiers of use.

Correct, but I don't see why that interests you?  I snooped your photobucket and it's pretty obvious you're not stupid and could whip something up of your own derivation.

BTW, did you ever get anywhere with your P07 reversal?  I'm a little ashamed of you that you didn't figure out the RMx bridge values... its so easy to do you'll laugh.

it's not the RMx bridges I am looking at right now;  I am working on mapping out the o2 sensor circuitry, and comparing the schematics with a typical ECU;  I need to see the object and it will make things alot easier in my head.  But most of all, I lack the funds to get a good L1H1 sensor for testing with the ECU and generating the slope/table for the use of the widebaned (assuming this ECU uses the same interface to the wideband circuit.   Lots to do, but I have proven it can be used;  I in-fact use it for my tuning ECU.

Yeah;  in Mo Hill 4 sure!  I was raised here, but have lived and gone abroad.  I pop around the bay often (well, not so often right now since I don't have a gas friendly vehicle right now.

I am trying to find a Del-Sol... or another EJ1 EX =)   I have been lookin on craigslist for someone who would trade for a streetbike.

You know you can download datasheets for L1H1 and LSU4, and from that do whatever is required codewise  to make it work?  Look at the old TE schematics as they used a different resistor in the pump circuit, also, but that was their only hardware change.
