If you think that's all that matters, I have no reason to talk to you because you're not interested in questioning the principles of things, nor are you demonstrating an ability to abstract to the level needed to properly deal with these concepts.  As for the Philosophy 101 remark.

In that case I'm mistaken.  You've been in it too long and your brain has turned to mush.  You've lost your ability to think clearly and NON-abstractly.  So when a simple case like this comes up you're questioning the origins of the universe and meaning of life instead of using what you learned and applying a little common sense to make PRACTICAL solutions.

Also Kant stated the only thing good in it's self is a good will.  Kant's system of ethics is a normative system of ethics that focuses on the will of a person and his categorical imperative creates some interesting cases where it seems to be a contradiction to apply kantian ethics.

Good will is doing the right thing for the right thing's sake.  In this case, doing the right thing is being a decent person and following society's etiquette so as to not disrespect your fellow persons.

You know as well as I do that what I'm saying for this particular case is correct.  I just felt like bringing things back to reality because your abstract questioning of the rightness of our society's etiquette rules was grossly off the point and best saved for class and that special time when you play with yourself at night.
