Hey im wondering if I swap my current plug NGK BKR7E to BR7ES If I would see improvements? The engine is a mitsi 4g64 2.4L single cam with a larger cam, a IHI vf23 with no intercooler and boost at 14psi with a 50/50 alcohol/water Injection. At the moment I have very hot IAT's of around 150deg and have had to take the timing back to 6deg @14psi. Someone suggested that I should be running the non projected plugs?? Cheers

I've made more power off of non-projected plugs than off of projected plugs.  A cosmetic 2-6 whp on boosted setups, but they do make more power. 

R5671A-x, where x is 7-11 in heat range.  They aren't resistor plugs, but I'm not sure if a Mitsu needs a resistor plug.  Most of the coil pack cars do.

Was running these plugs seven years ago......

Nothing like a "mustang plug" in a Honda motor using T-Bird injectors. My local speed shop always has them in stock for $2 a piece, so does TPR where Dave tunes at.

NGK aren't a Mustang plug.

Dave has a day job tuning Mustangs.

i ran r5671a-9/10's in my ED/OBD0 honda for about 4 months without a problem.

but ive read multiple times since then its not a good idea.  electromagnetic interference could become a factor.  Bisi suggested i not run them next season (i guess thats this season now). 

Its hard to find a similarly cold copper plug.

But when i did run them i had 0 issues.

EMI is only a problem if you have a poorly designed Hondata S300, as they aren't properly shielded.

Yeah, everyone I talk to always bitches about EMI using the non resistor plugs. I've switched all my customers to those plugs ever since I read a thread on ectune about using them.  The only "problem" people complain about is their radio reception sucks with them. If the car is off, the reception is twice as good.

Bisi is a damn smart nog, but he's also a Hondata dick rider.

HT has it's uses.  I'm not a big fan of it, though.  I'll answer a few questions there once every 1-2 weeks, then I don't check back so I won't feel obliged to argue with morons.

You'll get more EMI from wires tan a plug.  I fuck people's radios all up right now.  I have non-resistor plugs and solid core wires on my MR2, hasn't affected my Haltech E8 or the MSD DIS-4 HO.  Both manuals strictly warn you of doing this.

Spark plugs are INSIDE the engine.  If everything is grounded correctly (it usually is not) then EMI from non-resistor plugs is not a concern.  Unless you are a bunch of software guys like Hondata who can piddle with simple digital circuits but lack any real clue about electronics/analog theory so their shit gets raped by non-resistor plugs, solar flares, having your cell phone too close to the ECU, or something else equally fucking retarded.  Their shit is laughably comparable to AEM's support of VR sensors in the v1 EMS.  The Blueridge car makes 800+ while running an Ostrich on a ribbon cable (read: antenna) which is mounted six inches from a MSD HVC II coil (5-6 times larger than a Blaster SS, weighs 20 lbs or something) and a foot from a Digital-6 box.   Welcome to what a PhD in petrochem with an IQ of over 9000 does as a hobby vs a team of talented average-intelligent coders who are too lazy to learn anything else and have to resort to suing freeware guys to keep them out of the K-series market  because their product can't handle the competition.

Now, like Concept-X said, non-resistor wires will rape your shit like turning on a blender rapes an old school TV.  Old farm tractors ran solid metal core plug wires and if one was running a quarter mile away you couldn't watch TV because they weren't designed to reject the interference.
