Yesterday, sitting at the laptop, was partly cloudy and a nice temp, suddenly started pouring and a few minutes later just as suddenly stopped, yard was a huge puddle, then suddenly started pouring down hail and suddenly stopped a few minutes later, sun still shining, tornado sirens came on, and apparently a tornado touched down in Huntsville...

The only thing special about it is how early the tornadoes started this year

I remember when i lived in las vegas. They had huge storm drains and huge run offs all over town. And only but a select few underpasses ever got some water during heavy rains.

Southern California doesnt get rain ever so things like this fuck up 30 million peoples lives like no power,flooding etc from a couple inches of rain.


Now you'll say why dont they have better control of this. It happens like once every 10-15 years thats it. The rest of the time its 70 degrees outside in the winter with maybe a couple days a month with light rain.


Northern California gets rain very close to what oregon/washington do so we have to get ungodly amounts to effect things.
