For an inbred sbc lover you really don't know anything at all about them. Did you home mod this carb? Have you checked a/f or are you taking a wild guess off a plug you can't read? I'm guessing you probably haven't even locked out the timing. Or are you still thinking a vacuum advance can be used as to take timing out please show us something worthwhile out of this truck. I know turbo sbc's can make power but your's won't I predict failure once it see's any type of real load.

no everything is stock i just bolted the turbo on. ITS FAST!!!

I set the timing today it was very retarded it was about -8 or -10 degrees... That's a couple notches off the marker so it was getting about 10 degrees advance at wot

So I set it to 0 base for now that's aprox 20 degrees advance at wot

Now it holds 6psi but its running way too fat need to get a boost controller and up that shit back to 10psi

I thought 79fairmont aka boat junkbox was gunna get his way after I let off it was loaded up on gas and stumbled and was making a bunch of rattling noises... But it was just the v band clamp on the turbo came loose... Has anyone made one of these bastards last more than two tightenings

Gunna get a advance stop kit and have it max at 20-24 after a research a bit... Btms are way overpriced...

First off anyone with forced induction experience will tell you what a pile the btm is. Please install one and tell us when that diaphragm breaks and takes out your super alloy sandcast junk sbc pistons. Single turbo 07 gt I built the engine,turbo kit, rear end made 688 hp and 730 torque

2004 mach 1 1000 wheel hp built turbo kit,engine,rear end, installed big stuff 3, cage thru the floor subframes,suspension,etc. Did I mention it's the most powerful 281 cu in mach in the world?
