The beave say's this:   "The stock PM7 maps go to 7400, and the fuel cut for the DOHC D is at 7800"

I can't say for sure myself...  been a minute since I've even looked at an editor...

So you could use a pm7 map in your pm6 n adjust from there...

Oh and how high is "stupid high compression"?  You'll need to pull a lot of timing in the lower revs. to keep it from pinging and it probably willl anyway.  Your bud will probably need a 7 or 8 heat range plug...

I think I read somewhere that ng63 has additional columns that go to 9k...

its a D16Y8 bottom end with ZC pistons in it im pretty sure. dont remember what head.

i dont care to edit any maps. im pretty sure he ran this motor a little last year. or a similar one on a stock ECU. he just hates the 6800rpm revlimit, needs little higher to keep from having to shift and fall out of powerband...

from what i understand, the tune ability for obd0 stops at 7500 but you can take the motor higher.  its just that you need to tune the last row fat.

Both my pm7 and pg7 ECUs only let me rev to 7500, but then again the stock tach isn't the most accurate either.

So i take it you can't run a stock obd0 pr3 ecu and bre? they rev higher and from my understanding should be the same inside. you coudl switch the boards in the pm6 case.

even if it did swap inside, it has a knock board. wouldnt look like the others. and there is the cost issue.

there are a couple PM6's donated to this project. if we where swapping ECUs around it would most likely just get a P06 and can change hte revlimit to whatever we want.

Since when did Amtel or SST provide rom chips for pre-odb1 Hondas? ??? Just have him find another PM6, chip & tune it (quick & dirty like a JD tune), then solder the final and sell the other PM6. Profit X2. Just make sure to sand off the Amtel/SST markings and put a gelcoat (circuit board varnish) on it.
