Was wondering if anyone has used this HF bearing tool b4? I saw a writup online with some dude using same kind of set of tools, but that tool set was a nice one that cost $500+ so let me know because Im about to take on my first try here in a few days. If worst comes to worst I will take the hubs off and take it down to the machine shop and have them press my bearings in/out.

i wish we had a hub tamer at work.  Those things are fucking bad ass.

I have pretty much always pulled the hub off, and used a shop press to get shit done.

If you try it out, be sure to post up how it works out.

Well i think im gona buy the hf tool probably next week and give it a shot. Nar, my step dad has a press too, but it looks like this tool is 10x easyer than coming up with some nigger rig setup for a press. Ive used a press b4 and it works ok IF you have the right sized cups and shit. I also am going to do upper & lower ball joints, and extended wheel studs.

and two wrist pins.........

use the wrist pins where the caliper bracket attaches, then a socket by the tie rod.

Knuckle sits level and easy to press. Next time I do wheel bearings I'm gonna make a small jig as trying to balance everything is a PITA.

This.

It seems I end up with like 3 steel plates and 4 blocks of wood, and a small cambodian child, just to try and get it to sit still. The actual pressing is only a few seconds, the setup is where the time is.
