Well, i got the prototype CC twin disks in the mail today and in the car. The actuall disks look (exactly) like the older style with the friction material going completely around the circumerence of the disk... However the hubs HAVE been completely redesigned and do actually utilize the entire IS splining. the trans side disk hub actually protrudes through the disk tu utilize the splines previously not utilized under the floater disk... The motor side disk hub has been redesigned as well... Well see what happens hopefully fucking soon.
Going to put the tranny in and noticed a hairline crack around where the base of the countershaft sits. It was about 1 inch long... I wanted to just JB weld it... But had a bad feeling and called a bunch of people I knew would tell me not to do it, so..... I need to procure a new case (done) strip the shit out of the other one since it has a bunch of new bearings and seals and shit in it (done) and pick up a case from Mitch tomorrow and get busy measuring and assembling (not done) Its looking bleaker and bleaker if im gonna make it.... (that is if the weather cooperates anyways), as if my cars not running, I should be worjking on getting it running. Not fucking around.
