I was of the same mindset for quite a while. I've been with this girl for a little over 3 years (co-habitated that long) , and she has shown me that not all (but MOST) women are just that. She's really fantastic, and that's not just the "newlywed" speaking. She and I are nothing new to each other.
Don't plan on kids until I'm about 30, so 4 more years to get everything in order. But we are going to do our best to get my daughter out of where she is with her mother. But as far as "youth" we've both already had more than our fair share of "young, immature" shit to last the both of us multiple lifetimes. We are both content on the typical older person's lifestyle of just hanging out together, and a few friends. Or just watching t.v. Simple shit. Keeping it simple and uncomplicated is under rated in these days of global advertising, where everyone is chasing shit they can't afford, to keep up with people that are in twice the debt they are. Too many people are concerned with their image, and status to actually focus on the quality of their life. We've excelled in that, and live well within our limited means. And we are content in doing so.
