I HATE THIS WEATHER!!! But im getting work done!

First up before I can boost anything I need new brakes. My old Hawk HP+ pads were great, but after a few stops from over 130 fade would get bad. Also at this point the pads were shot, having been abused for 18,000 miles it was time to change.

KVR rotors and pads; well onto the pic's!

The right way to put slotted rotors on

I think the pads were done!

Old VS New

A little grease

Time for the other side.

Now thats the end of that. Brakes stop good, and so far no fad despite how hard I push them

Fun stuff, started pulling apart this motor I had laying around. Its a y8 with untold miles. PIC time.

This is why I think the y motors are stronger in the 500+ range, block casting has no weak link.

No drain to be filled.

Damn anyone ever heard of a oil change, looks like this person never did.

I thought for a second this was cast iron......

Here you can see before and after.

Oh yea looking better.

At this point I was a few hours in, no heat, my balls where frozen and feet/ hands were num. More to come, oh and I need to put this to use

Well I wish I had a better update. I been slowly moving over the last few weeks. I went to move my garage saturday morning and quickly realized the garage had been broken into. They took my big air compressor, all my power tools, all my hand tools, and some misc stuff. The only thing they didnt take was my welder since I had taken it out but they did take the welder gas tank >:(

Its going to be sometime before I can start going again on both my project cars.....

Tell me about it Joe, crx parts are all scattered around idk what I have or im missing. Only thing it looks like they didnt take any parts just tools. I had 4 turbos, new parts in box's un open, and none of it was even touched.

Hell even my new built motor for the 4dr was in plain sight on the stand and left untouch.

See if your insurance covers the tools. Luckily they didn't take the turbos & motor, that shit is less likely to have been covered.

If insurance doesn't help, sell one or more of these, turbos.

What turbos do you have?   :noel:
