ford focus will go faster than a slowbalt flat out. I did 130 in a wagon on a expressway and still had more in it. so go for it

Get a prius if you can for cheap enough. They are more aerodynamic then a Corvette.

also.. dont rule out a van!

town and country you can turn off traction control and they have a manuamatic shifter pretty fun to dog on them and i hate to say it but they are pretty peppy vans

you make the cheapest reservation online and then when you get there to ask for upgrades... (usually not more than +15 a day) thats how you book the cheapest shit

From what I've read, they don't allow rentals on the flats anymore.
