fastest cheap rental car to flog on the salt flats

Hertz will do me a chevy aveo for 28 after all taxes and fees, that's about all I can afford. Maybe upgrade to a slowbalt for 3$

Any thoughts? Know of better/funner cars that are cheap or anyone wanna come out to the flats end of this month

ford focus will go faster than a slowbalt flat out. I did 130 in a wagon on a expressway and still had more in it. so go for it

Get a prius if you can for cheap enough. They are more aerodynamic then a Corvette.

why skimp out? you might pay 50 a day but you'll be having thousands of dollars worth of fun

also the farther away from an airport the rental car is the cheaper it will be

also.. dont rule out a van!

town and country you can turn off traction control and they have a manuamatic shifter pretty fun to dog on them and i hate to say it but they are pretty peppy vans

you make the cheapest reservation online and then when you get there to ask for upgrades... (usually not more than +15 a day) thats how you book the cheapest shit
