need to nigger rig my fuel pump to get it running

theres 4 wires

2 bunched together are green with black stripe and green with red stripe

and the other 2 bunched together are red with pink stripe (possibly just red who knows) and red with black stripe

any idea on what to connect to what or if i run a 12v wire from fuse box nigger rig it to which wires

ok so i tried connecting them a whole bunch of different combinations and got nothing

so do i need to connect one of them to a 12v source

Reds ALWAYS power blacks ALWAYS ground. Hook red up to 12v and see what happens

Guess ill help you out then nignog

Use a light tester put on said wires (make sure you use the alligator clip on a negative source) turn key on, and test each wire. When the key is on the wire will be hot, when the key is off the wire will be cold.

i wish i had a tester but it was at a friends house and hes dead now...

idk what the problem is but its intermittent... but since nothing happend when i touched the wires im assuming ill have to introduce a 12v source to the mix but which wire do i connect it to :/

You need a power and a ground for the fuel pump. The other 2 wire are probly a 5volt ref. And a sending wire for the gas gauge

naaa i know where the inertia switch is and it was the first thing i checked i really have no idea why those wires were going into the trunk like that... it doesnt make sense...
