If this Sunday Stevie B came out of the pits and put the beat down on Miller, then sang "Spring Love", I'd surely take a .40 cal to the mouth.....cause there'd be nothing else to achieve.  :noel:

I was told on the pass where speedfactory missed fourth, the 1/8 was 3 tenths faster than any other pass the car has ever had.   They're thinking it was a solid .70 pass.

It will be intersting to see how this whole breaking cert thing works out.

Miller broke cert and was really not on it going through the lights... He got a warning. Next time he goes to quick hes done. Period (or anyone for that matter).

Well the track officals are saying each racers gets one warning and after that they're out. They were told that from the beginning. We'll see if that holds up.

Why Miller would use his 1 free pass in qualifying IDK.  I'm thinking Tonys gonna sneak slowly sneak up to get right on that 8.50.   My take on it is that Miller is out to show everyone hes the King while Tony wants to win the money/race.

I'm hoping thats how it goes down and they bring it the NSCRA finals to battle it without worrying about the cert.

It really blows my mind that no body has shut this down. 180mph in a well setup rwd car is running out of room in the 25.5 spec, and having to goto a 25.3 spec, and these guys are getting away with 10pt cages. Some have taken the liberty of a funny car halo, but that is still NO WHERE near the safety equipment needed on these cars. Unfortunately it will probably need a serious crash in order for it too be looked at.

It is amazing that they are breaking into the 8.49's and below, and even more amazing that they are going 180mph+

I know why competitively none of them have gone to the 25.5, is that extra 200lbs of tubing, will really take a lot to over come and stay competitive. As long as the safety rules stay the way they are guys like miller are probably better off just dialing in for consistent 8.50's or as close to consistent 8.50's as he can get, then adding 200lbs, and trying to find the extra power to bring him back to 8.40's and quicker.

Werd.  Adding more weight n making more power when the tranny is already beyond it's limits.  Ain't gonna happen.  I heard he stripped 3rd out of one of these http://www.ppgearbox.com.au/page.asp?parentid=3&parent2id=19&parent3id=33&productid=88 at this event.
