i've made apple moonshine before. not bad.

i made it straight from apples not using wine to start. cool though

We've made "prison wine" as we called it before. Cheap and easy. Made like 4 gallons for 5 bucks. lol

We first made wine; and bottled it. Saved some to process into a special treat

The grape wines came out superb!

Do you need to throw away the head when you distill already safe to drink beverages? I know you get some nasty stuff when you distill mash, but wine?

The bad stuff is ethyl alcohol... 139* and you can still it out. Then run it at 172* and enjoy the results!

You don't get much ethyl from apples... Corn... Watch yourself!

Rule of thumb: if it Burns blue its bad for you.
Methyl burns orange that's what you want.
