This is product I had an idea for a few years back,  A few of us got it got 90% finished, and now is finally in the finishing stages.     Some of you know what it is, and the rest of you should be able to figure out what it is or does.   Its universal, but the first target market is Honda.

It should be in engine management but Im excited so deal with it.

You could market this to tell how awesome your drifting is. :P

Are you using the ABS sensors for the rear wheel speed? What would be cool is if it could output a signal at a certain % difference, then have the EMS retard timing or reduce boost. Now that I think about it, you could wire in a boost retard box, but have the wheelspin activate it when needed. I know a lot of OEM's have very abrupt timing changes already.

It would be even cooler if the end user could set the slip ratio it starts at and the rate at witch it drops cylinders/ timing however your going to do it.

Is it just for datalogging, or do you have plans on incorporating a traction control system into it????

There is front and rear abs input,  F&R 0-5v out, and 0-5v slip(delta) output. Currently we/re working with Neptune to use this as boost per speed using rear wheel speed, and then actual traction control.

The cool thing is that will will work with almost any tunable ecu.  If even it doesnt have specific application for this, that you can use the 0-5v outputs to log the wheel speeds, and/or slip allowing the user to make manual changes to correct the traction loss.

The slip output voltage increase as the rate of change(slip/tires spinning/traction loss) between the front and rear wheels changes.   Its all about having the data, and this will allow you to be able to see it.

Cool.  please tell more!  Cost?

Hopefully will be for sale in a couple months,  maybe sooner.  Still working on price.

Sounds like you've got your ducks in a row already. 0-5v output will make things very easy to deal with.

I can see making a stand-alone setup by controlling a timing retard box with a microcontroller, or even directly if the output is configured right. You could also configure a microcontroller to interface between the boost solenoid to cut duty cycle, and therefore boost.
