Alternative valve cover venting?
« on: April 16, 2009, 11:39:23 AM »

Found this whilst browsing through some D series forums.

Apparently it screws into your oil filler hole and then you route it to a catchcan. Seems to be less work than welding bungs and baffling on a valvecover. What do you guys think? Im thinking about using one in conjunction with the ports on the back of my block.

why dont you just drill a hole in the cap, tap it and screw in 90° elbow and run a barb fitting and save yourself 58 bucks.

I love this place. Im gonna HMT this after work. Tapping the cap like that though, wont I have issues due to no baffling? It might fill up my catchcan pretty quick. Then again I guess the 90 bend would act as a baffle?
