So as I didnt get the 2Gs out of the old motor I thought Id have to throw at the update, the scope of the revamp isn't gong to be as much as Id hoped.... No NEW block, No E85 and maybe no NEW turbo... Im going to use the same Intake, TB, injectors/fuel system and manifold setup... And for now (If I cant sell the T04ZR for the BB 6765 a buddy has) Ill run the same turbo too. I hasve enough fuel for 800 on gasoline, and thats all Im really looking for, it shouldnt be a big problem. Car should be even more effecient with the changes.

The car is getting a cage though. Well get started on that mid FEB, Having a hoop and halo bent for it by a buddy and Alex and I will cage it. It will be legal... Cage will be scotch brited and clear coated and kept nice and tight and as out of view as I can get it.
Also this weekend starting the ABS delete and putting a bigger PCV catch can where it was.
Bought Mitches old Benson sleeved H22A1 closed deck block that was in the Prelude for 200 bucks with caps and crank bridge (It was at 87.5mm, going to 88mm on this build) It had a much less traumatic breakage before mine did the first time so... you guessed it... I had Ricky @ Speedfactory weld the fucking hole up and Im building of it. No real structural damage at all ;O) Before and afters:

Have a set of ACL main bearings alreadsy and everything to complete the shortblock but an oil pump and rod bearings. Its all going to Ross' machinist so that I can have them measure the rods big end ID and Crank after the polish and figure out OEM rod bearings... Also, I will be o-ringing this one. Plan is .030 in and .010 out of the groove. No satep on Benson/Darton blocks and I want to make SURE I have no HG issues like that 89MM clusterfuck had. It never had issues like that before. It was seriously fucking retarded.

Blake has helped me out alot with some little H22 shit he had laying around I need. He hooked me up with a mint ass H22 head that has had some porting done and Brand new Bronze guides installed... The head is going out to have the porting finished up, but I got bored and polished the fuck out of the CCs. The pics dont do them justice... Theyre fucking blingin'
The head will be stuffed with Ferrea Valves and Supertech Springs and retainers again, but this time with Pro 1s, the Crower gears and a fair amount of port massaging Shes gonna breathe hard :O)
Took the trans apart to look at how everything was fairing after the summers beating (It didnt break 1 fucking thing this year.... Winning!!! Only Change was going back to an OEM 1-2 slider ( I was beta testing Synchrotechs new 1-2 Selector sleeve and didn't like the 2-1 shift). Sending it back for modifications and theyre sending me a new one with the changes I asked for and a couple more sets of syncros. Im having GREAT luck with their newest carbon syncro desiugn and HIGHLY reccomend them. I didnt much care of them before this round. Im using TORCO RTF and that shit is fucking AMAZINGBALLS too :O)
