From my understanding of what's available, hondata s300 with hondata's COP kit is going to be what you want. It's all meant to work together and seems to work as well as one could imagine on an oem ecu. Any other option worth doing will require a stand alone ems.

Maybe one day Dave Blundell will finish his kit, then you could use Neptune, or maybe even Crome. Hondata won't give Neptune the permission/info to use their kit without a boatload of money. That's been discussed on the hrtuning forum multiple times.

I can't imagine it's a very difficult thing to do with a small amount of electronics knowledge. The ecu already knows when to fire, you'd really just need something to point to 1-3-4-2 look, a tdc signal then repeat.

What does a brake booster have to do with a distributor?

If you don't want a distributor then AEM EMS is your answer. Hondata still uses it just with a small billet cap. Aem just has a very small sensor in place of the distributor.

It is not going in a Honda chassis.

If it's going into a mini then ditch the booster, you don't need it.

Pullies & jackshaft. Pure win in my book.

Aside from different chassis swaps that need it gone, how many people really need it gone? In most cases it seems more like bling than anything. If you need it so you can open the gap to improve low-end or MPG's on a race car, you're doing it wrong.

That doesn't make sense. How is the intake manifold less of a problem than the distributor?

James Holy just said there are 3 COP options about to be available to the public that will run on the stock ecu, also meaning any stock ecu based EMS. One of them supposedly will work with the AEM EPS on the stock ecu. That is much smaller than the distributor

I Just run a home made coil plate, k series coils, a t1 cam trigger kit, a home made harness originally then switched to a chase harness and lastly an aem ems. If you go this route and can afford to spring for the v2 ems do so cause the hardware in the v1's can't handle high boost....ask me how I know... :'(

I have the Hungarian COP kit on its way to me right now for testing. He doesn't have access to hondata and also wants it tested on Neptune. I can use a customers s300 ecu to test and I'm a Neptune dealer now, so...... Free COP for me!! Lol

I bought a COP box from a dude a few years ago.  There are people out there making them.

I would tell you who it was, but I was super dissatisfied with the transaction, so fuck that dick head.
