anyone tried an EG exhaust on a 1G?  With the cost of ching chong exhausts on ebay seems like a better plan then cobbling together shit

Doesn't the muffler exist on the driver side with the muffler parallel with the bumper?

92-29 civic the exhaust exits out the passenger side of back bumper.

You would have to cut and weld and then notch the rear bumper to have the exhaust exit the same way as the "EG"  :noel:

Just need to replace a wheel cylinder and bleed the brakes.. Track day on monday.  Used a Fiero front sway bar in the rear (23mm) with bushings from a pathfinder (poly) and endlinks from my old S197 ... Very  :mexi:

Borrowed some Kosei wheels, got some Free RA1's

ended up building my own exhaust.. uses a pypes M80 silencer I had lying around, walker single in dual out, some shitty bends... and off we go. No cat needed.

Still need to drop the front

Lookin at this...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-MUFFLER-TIP-CAT-BACK-CATBACK-MUFFLER-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-89-91-HONDA-CIVIC-3-DR-HB-/191186596647?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACivic&hash=item2c839bf327&vxp=mtr

Good thing you didn't get is one. I bought one with plans to modify it for my 87 crx.. The pipes are about 2.38" od, and at one point, they choke down to 2" where the axle back meets.. Who the fuck does that? Even though its built for a 2g crx/4g civic, the piping after the muffler has a weird angle up.. Which has to be cut off and rewelded. Other than that, it's pretty darn close to fitting.

Also, I test fitted a 92 civic exhaust.. This bolts up to the crx, but you just need to modify the axle back.. The whole mid pipe looks like its the same from 84-2000 civics

Didn't make the track event and took the 911 instead (Would have rather taken the CRX)

Went to put it on the trailer 50 min later and it won't start.  Not even a sputter, not even with quick start...

I know I made one major mistake in Devac-ing (black box toss) and not keeping the sensor (MAP I think)  but i would think that even with a bad or missing map it would run.

What I've checked

- Fuel at the rail
-Pump primes
- Timing is right
-Plugs are fine

Any ideas?

Plugs are fine as in you have spark? Or they aren't fouled?

Loose ground?

I had a similar issue where I put my car on the dolly, went to restart it 10min. later and nothing.

Does it crank over at all?
