The daughter moved out and I hate cars, so here goes.
It's a tiny room. 6 feet by 11 and change added on at some point, awkward 180* entryway through the second bathroom that prevents me from moving just anything in and out. Specifically the sweet old school steel desk I could have gotten for beans two miles away.
So, steam cleaned the carpet and started hunting for shit to put in it. I ended up with a cheap L desk in like new condition for $75 off Marketplace. I threw up some black out drapes and pushed it into the corner.
I reckon I needed dual monitors. Dunno what a man does with more than one monitor, but we are flexing on poors here. With a $75 desk budget. One that will probably sag over time with a dual monitor mount. It wouldn't be RHM-whatever this place is if some poor choices weren't made along the way. Anyway. I had a terrorist type individual that I know - think of a fully functional buk who isn't afraid to shave or do a situp - make a brace. Enjoy my mspaint drafting ability, that CAD class in college has paid off.
Slather it with wood glue and clamp it on there... waiting for it to dry is lame so proceed with the drilling.
It isn't collapsing under it's own weight... which is surprising for something I did involving wood.
Finished product.
More later.
