Newb here, Start of my build *now with goods*
« on: May 13, 2009, 09:52:00 AM »

as promised, there from a web cam, havent found the others yet, she loved to dance on webcam. higher qualitys to come

last summers fling... nothing good but something

Well ive been browsing this for a bit, figured im far along in my build i can start posting some stuff up
I suppose an informal introduction might be needed... not that any of you give a shit haha.

My names Rob, im from kingston, alot of my cars parts are from Lowerit, and another local guy with a type R ef.

i suppose on with the pictures... i know im suppost to post porn, but your gonna have to wait till i find the pics of my phyco ex girlfriend.

the damage on the what used to be good side from someone backing into it

Pretty sure the fluid is NOT suppose to look like that lol

usless stuff

started on the pedal assembly, figured since it was out, might as well freshen it up, and what better way then to do it with Grip tape from skateboards. think i got the idea from lowerit.

the gas pedal im gonna have to weld on a small piece of metal to put the tape over as you can see its kind of... well not flat

picked up a cometic head gasket, 75.5mm along with a Z6 head with aftermarket cam... dont know the lifts or anything exactly it was one of 2 cams, gonna get the specs on both shortly. and i have a feeling it has aftermarket springs and retainers as well but i could be wrong about that.

porting starts this weekend, then off to be milled to be sure its true.

Pictures of the Donner car with motor in it, and a few others, JDM D15B VTAAKK

itsssaaaaaa niiiceeee

Old motor out, pulled up all the wiring for a tuck

my clutch setup FREEBIE looks rough but its fairly new

eyeballed it up

perfect the first try

now the fun starts

the DPFI harness

starting to shave it

old head to make sure i have the right sensors plugged in along with donnar harness

at the end of the stripping, this is what im left with, tomorrow looming

and Lowerits Dildo shift knob so he calls it haha

Not SS autochrome or what ever that junk is, thicker gauge steel, not greatest but half decent quality.

Quote from: Lowerit
Id like to give a special thanks to myself and Danno....

#1) I saw the sedan at the wreckers when we dropped off the turd

the turd

#2) Danno and I convinced Blonde Brillo head Pube face to get the sedan over another car which was...errrr funky Funky...

Pube face listened..and I have to say even my ego driven mentality is impressed.. This car is gonna look tits.

put a NA header on it to pressure was it before it gets installed

engine harness pretty much done, injector harness is gonna be on its own

So after finding the rear tranny mount and bracket, i sandblasted them and laid a quick coat of low gloss to it. next came time to install the motor...
that didnt go so well the crank pully was gonna take out my fresh paint that seems to be fairly brittle as is. not a good thing at all. oh welllllllll it is rather chilly out

so we tried for a bit to break the pully bolt loose, and we lost, cracked the pully tho haha take that bitch pully. gonna hit it iwth air tomorrow and in she goes
now with the fun stuff the pictures....

yes im licking my clean harness lol dont ask.

yes the entire wire harness is attached to the motor aside from the injector one, which is completely separate and will be installed tomorrow

Some more quick pics of the start of my brake tuck, still gotta bleed teh system and mount the prop valve, but all the lines are run and done, camera died part way through.

Rear brake lines pulled through

front brake line done

shaved

start of the injector wire harness, its gonna run underneath the manifold and come up to each injector, later on injectors will be flipped and fuel rail notched to fit the plug

mmmm no rust me like

gonna have to change the manifold a bit, need to change the wastegate it doesnt clear the hood and i want to stay stock looking hood. gonna need an aftermarket cross member, thinking of the weir one, but might just go with hasport

the injector harness, was gonna use differnt loom, but i just want it done, didnt have time or money to spend on good loom and i had this stuff laying around aslo some fittings for the block, and oil pan

working 12 hours in brockville, but thursday should be good ill have lots of money to buy what ever im missing, also need to make a fast dump run to clean it out a bit

anyway oil pan finished today, welded and jb welded to be sure....

oil temp sensor and oil return lines

some more work done today, fuel lines, and power wires are done, just need to do grounds, and get a rad and im set.

my new suspension courtesy of Danno

inpart with dannos idea from last year, slightly refined. this is what i started with

and this is what i ended up with

i added more water so its compleatly submerged, and i... agitate it every hour or so, its already solid black, probably doesnt need to stay in there much longer, but im in no rush to install it. so there it will sit till thursday

sneak peak of the carpet already

some work done today, dye worked mint, it looks factory.

Some more goodies for the car

some clearance issues with the rad and manifold,

so i bought a new one....

And thats it for now, plans for the car to go Champ white, and wait till you see the exhuast im gonna be temporarily running

the portable garage lasted... 8 days before the city was on my ass to take it down, but i only needed it to paint the engine bay.

i suppose the city would rather me have my car torn apart and worked on outside of a portable garage depreciating the value of the neighborhood.  oh welll haha

Hope you get that over spray of the windsheild. ;D

If you are painting the car championship white why do you have the engine bay painted green?

Paint the whole car that gaggle green would give that Incredible Hulk look and would other people from getting mean with you.

Because no one wants to see your car get mad. ;D

You and your car are both ugly especially that green...you should fit in perfectly around here. I love the grip tape on the pedals.
