I would fucking Die if i couldnt touch sand and hear waves, i have to live close to oceans lol. Spent the aniversary at Nags Head NC. Love it out there, rode up to Corolla again and saw the wild horses, got a few awesome shots of my mediocre Pilot.

Speaking of which anyone know if the transimission in those pilots stand up? Im hoping im not slowly killing that thing by actually using it. Supposivly its an All Wheel drive system with a locker in the rear, so when you hit the "VTM" button its suppose to lock you in like 70 front and 30 rear and turn teh locker on under 20 mph. So not for 4 wheelin but should be fine for sand, i just know that wheel spin kills these things so im wondering how its gonna take this abuse long term.

Wow that looks so awesome, I havent seen the beach since I moved to MD 2yrs ago, I used to go on a regular basis when I was at UNF, Lived like 10min away. Oh well have to be a grown up now.

Not all of us can rely on our suprior welding skillz to score us awesome drinking trips with huge tittied bartenders all over the globe in all the exotic places you see on the travel channel.

Been to Pruto Vallerta once, and Vegas. Both had roughly the same amount of mexicans and both were awesome. I loved buying beers for 70 cents from the XOXO, and walking out to the sidewalk to drink them.

I'd love to get those pictures back, anyone know anybody with a clean room to lend me? I need to repair the heads on a WD 500 gig in order to get my honey moon pictures back and i dont know of anyone with a clean room laying around.

Pilot trannys and diffs are better than any other honda units.

Ive only replaced 4 or 5 pilot trannys and 0 diffs in the 3-4 years Ive been a tech at honda. Ive done probably over 60 or 70 trannys in ody's accords and civics. Crv trans are decent. But the diffs are ass.

KEEP THE FLUIDS CLEAN in the tranny and diff. Best advice I can give you. And DONT use aftermarket fluids. VTM-4 fluid in the diff and Honda atf only in the trans.

BTW scenery looks nice.

i second that. dont think we have done any trannies, maybe 1 in the last year. use honda fuilds, get the tranny cooler for the towing kit if it doenst already have one

Nah it doesnt have the tranny cooler and I dont really have any plans to tow anything but i figured it was cheap insurance. Good to know, It clunked when it came out of gear on an incline a few weeks ago (I was on a mountain) and ive been nervious ever since. When i got out on the sand and locked it in, i heard the same sorta noise and was hoping that wasnt bad. Drives fine though, just that clunk that one time.

When its time for the tranny maintenence I will certainly use Honda fluid though.

See thats why i love VA, I drive like 2.5 to 3 hours and i get the mountains. Go 40 minutes the other way and i get Va beach or 2 hours south for NC like you see pictured above. best of both worlds close enough to do either in a day trip. Nothin beats the mountains but Ive always been around the chickahomy river or Nags Head my whole life, so im baised.

i get both, beach in 20 minutes, cascade mountains in an hour.

summer=jet skis, boat, and dirtbikes
winter=snowmobiles, skiing

I personally would change the trans fluid every 15 to 20k.

Its worth it in the end. Plus its only 3- 3.5 qts each time.

yea, myrtle beach is my place to go......its just that i live like 11hours away from their in(OHIO) but sometimes its worth the drive i went 3 times last year and probably wont even get a chance to go this year

im going to try to go this july but im fucking broke right now... also this weekend is the
