my came around the early 80's when I drove for Catapiller in the 11 western states, always collected a hat from a contractor or dealer who I delt with. This led to many, many hats, around 500. Thats how I came up with hatrack. as for the 48--thats how old i was when i joined the old site. I guess I should change it to hatrack55 now that i'm older and on a better site

Becuase i used to have a huge poster of a rotory engine all blown apart to see the insides, and just all around loved the rx line of cars, so a friend called me a rotorygeek one day and it stuck. But for some reason when i went to make my name "rotorygeek" was already taken, so i went with "rotarygeek". So far not one person has noticed or said anything.

I used to have an Astro Van years ago.. I used "AstroVannin" for hotmail address, and just kept using it for everything else. It was just easy to remember.
