I've saved myself countless hours of grief by never using someone else's abortion of a tune as a basemap.  I've posted a few of my tunes up so that people could get a look and feel at timing and the shapes of fuel curves - but I don't even use those as basemaps on "similar" setups.

What I will do is a writeup on how to porperly make and tune your own basemap.

OOOo nice.  Minorthreat and I had 3 pitchers of beer and gave me a lesson on some tuning.  But i still have quite a few questions, especially regarding things like cold start enrichiment, accel enrichments and shit like that.  Low load spark map cells, cruse afrs ect.

Thx jd

x2. I used to use peoples basemaps when I first got started but I quickly learned that it was 100x easier and faster to make my own.

The premise is the same, injector offsets exist on Crome.  I can do both.

If you need help for something, don't be shy. I'm a programmer and website developer in PHP/MySQL or whatever language/database you use ;)

CSS is a bitch btw.

I'm down for helping too.  Needs to have password protected upload or some shit, or a way for an admin to validate an upload and make it public.  Files need to have descriptions.  Would be nice to have a mysql-driven thing where you can narrow down search results by like MAP sensor type, B,D, etc, and also fuck your mother.

I actually made a .BIN uploading software a while back.  I probably got it around here somewhere.

Comments/Suggestions?  Pardon my erratic note-taking

FileTypes
FTid - autoincrement int
FTName - varchar 50
FTType - varchar 50 (Software, Add-on, BIN, Other)

Softwares
SWid - autoincrement int
SWName - varchar 50 (i.e. Crome, BRE, Uberdata)

Engines
EngineID - autoincrement int
EngineSeries - varchar 10 (B-series, D-series, K-series)

Files
FileID - autoincrement int
FileLocation - varchar 200
FileTypeID - related to FTid
FileSWid - 0 for n/a or related to SWid
FileApproved - boolean
EngineID - 0 for n/a or EngineID
MAPsize - varchar map sensor size
INJsize - varchar injector size
FileDesc - varchar 500 (details of tune)
EngineID - related to EngineID

opening page - shows FileTypes, from there have search box with software type, engine series, list files. Might be nice to have a comment box for each file

When I get some free time, I'll install SMF at home and see if I can get the code to integrate with RHMT, i.e. use cookies to keep track of user info.  With my schedule it might take a while.

Yes please.

You should help me out with this.  I did you the favor of taking that shitty cylinder head off your hands, after all.

A 15 second outline for how to install/configure this PHP script via FTP, or a link to a how-to.  I know it's not rocket science, but I work all the time and don't want to waste time.

I've already gotten a chunk of the work done JD.  If you want I can send you my source and a script to recreate the mySQL tables.

Please do.

It's obvious these things are prey to being hacked, and websites go up and down.  I'd really like to have two identical archives.
