Ingenuity welcome- addictive game
« on: March 10, 2009, 04:39:27 PM »

Wafflesincars posted this on the old site. I think I have wasted $1000's  of company time playing it

http://www.ingenuitywelcome.com/game/

It's a lot better when you say screw the clock and build multi wheeled cars that look like they were drawn by Michael J Fox.

13 seconds?  Somehow I don't think you're doing a traditional cart... what's the trick?

At home I can get 13 secs. At school, with the same cart with a shitty computer/connection, I get 43 seconds... lol.

Did anyone try making one way flaps with the shocks to keep the coconuts in?

Lol it did move, and carried some coconuts through the sunroof. but it bottomed out on the first bump.

here's my new creation. they didn't say the coconuts needed to be intact. A coconut launcher!

A circle suspended by two shocks creates somewhat of a one way door.  Whenever you hit a jump or something the circle moves up closing the gap and preventing the coconuts from getting out, but I haven't been able to incorporate this into a good car.  I think my fastest was like 22 seconds and all 15.

That launcher worked somewhat... didn't launch the coconuts very far.

Haha, I'm not alone. I built a launcher too but mine sucked.
