I've actually gotten 2 jobs that were advertised on craigslist. Like rawr said, I submitted my resume/cover sheet/references/their applications, waited a good 5 days and called back asking what the status of my application was. The one took forever to get after doing the fbi fingerprinting, background check, drug testing, etc but I did finally get a job that way. I can't really say shit since I'm not in Cali but I find it hard to believe you can't find something. When I was job hunting I could've gotten a job along Professor McNugget, but I wanted something that actually went with my degree/experience with more money and waited it out. You, on the other hand, have a wife and atleast 1 kid I know of that you need to take care of. No job is beneath you.
