guaranteed to work if you use pipe that slips tightly over your existing exhaust line.

I think all cop cars need to have turbo. nbspnbsp Then they would understand the necessity of putting your foot down and how uncontrollable the urge is to fucking rail on that shit.

if you had a GOOD pipe expander (not a HF POS) you could do it aways after the cat.
remember that epoxies cure & uncure with heat. i would doubt the ability of it to hold the entire thing together with the vibrations once the heat softened it any amount.

If you want to epoxy an expanded joint, you may as well do what they've done for decades. Use "exhaust clamps". It's a u-bolt with a rounded plate to bolt to, so it clamps all around. Will be close to the price of JB weld per joint, too.

BTW if you go to almost any smaller exhaust shop, they will hydralicly expand you pipes for cheap.

i remember alot about oczc. Where the hell is my original post count and og status.

I took another look under the car. The pipe looks like it broke off after the flex pipe, and the next piece to connect to is cracked about 8-10inches. So i got to replace it all. Talking to this guy the has a 2.25 to 2.5in exhaust supposed to connect to stock cat.

get some of these band style exhaust clamps, they seal super fucking tight yet you can take them off in about 30 sec. it does not deform the pipe like the u-clamps do.

Mine broke just after the cat. I bought a 6$ (expensive shit) 2" ID to 1" 5/8 OD and push it in the cat with a hammer.

It hold good after 1 month and I didnt weld/JB weld anything.

Just buy a 2" to 2" adapter, put muffler potty, paint it. Voilà!

These are the best. I bought one of these from summit and it's just awesome. Seals fucking PERFECT and like you said takes 30 seconds to undo. Cheap too.

Really? They got 3" ones? Gonna have to check that out. I've known the owner of our NAPA for years so I get a good discount there.
