 if you look his parents were legally married in the united states...to the best of my recollection, if you're the child of a united states citizen and born elsewhere you're still a us citizen from birth.

The office of the president requires a Natural born citizen.

If this is verified to be true, he is not.


To be a natural born citizen and be born in another country requires both parents to be American citizens, as well as the child not obtaining citizenship of the country he/she is born in.

His claim on being natural born was that he was indeed born in the US.

You are a citizen, but not a naturalized citizen.  For that, you need to be born on/in U.S. territory.  Embassy, military base, US territories, 50 States, that kinda stuff. Wonder what happens if you are born in Antarctica though

I think if both parents are US citizens and you do not obtain citizenship from the country you are born in, you can be a natural born citizen as well.
