more updates: fuel system is complete, just gotta grab 2 fittings in the morning and button her up. Rad is in. It looks to be a modified EG unit by the looks of things.
As you can see the 1pc front end is also on now. Still need to play around with it quite a bit to get the alignment right.
Shift bucket and shift cables are secure. We opted to use a shift box from a 90-93 accord and modify the cable mount plate that bolts to the trans to give us the proper throw needed to slam gears. We went this route bc of the all steel construction of the older H/F shift boxes that can take all the abuse we throw at it. We did the same in K20 EG race car and it hasnt let us down yet.
On to the pics. Note, ill should have it running within the next week. ill post a vid once i get to that stage.
inital test fit of the the flip front.
testing.....
still testing.....
old mock up shot of the shifter box before the cables were installed onto the trans
Front End on, hinges roughly in the right spot, still needs major alignment
rad in place, fuel lines run, wires everywhere!
Modified K20 cable mount bracket.
90-93 accord Shift box assembly
Return line for the fuel system. Not entirely happy with it. No real spot to secure it either. Might pull the tank before i put fuel in it and get some tabs welded up on it so i can secure the lines a bit better.
