100% stock motor with mk4 head gasket, raises comp. to 10.5.1
stock tranny with act 6puck unsprung disc with stock pressure plate
c2 motorsports 42lb software
bosch 42lb injectors
stock fuel pump
ebay t3/t4 50 trim
ebay intercooler and piping
ebay 38mm wastegate
3inch exhaust turbo back
im currently running 9lbs, i ran the best of a 13.2 @ 108 on 8psi and street tires,
plan to run a holset h1c and turn it up to 12psi hoping for a low 12 on slicks

actually no harder then working on a honda motor, pretty easy, plus i can take the whole frontend off in 5mins if i really wanted too

haha I can attest to this. VW front ends come apart pretty easily, helped a buddy swap in motor mounts & new rad/grill/bumper on his golf gti.

so was the vr6 stock or did you swap it? I'm hoping my buddies aba jetta is completed soon, its a 98 gt.

Sweet paint job too, must've been a pain in the arse to do lol

No the vr6 isnt stock, it had the 2.0 slow in there and i got a donor car and went to work, paint wasnt to bad only time really was taping the windows and what not

Ive never hit the dyno but i kno the tq is right around 300 and hp im probably around 300-320whp

my friend has a tt quattro and thinks his dahlback "stage1" chip took him from 180 crank to 180whp with no other mods. . . . im paying for the dyno time tuesday if he makes 180awhp

nice job keep the kit running storng get a restrictor it helps the seals last(if your motor puts out similar pressures to a honda)

yea i have a good restrictor, turbo seems to be doing fine, ive probably got 8-10k miles on it so far, yea companys that sell vw/audi they rape people out the ass on parts, its crazy what people spend on shit
