single .32 Auto to the head.

RIP Never named him, Picked him up as a stray, starved and skinny. had him about 3 minths now. First day we had him in the house, starved he would put his nose up to our plate, but never try to take food. Amazed me as he would devour anything you gave him. Really friendly, Protective, and well mannered.

Friday night, I cam home from work, the dog had got out of his collar, no idea where he was, I went to bed. Sat morning, I walked out on the porch and he was petrified at the side of the steps, ants running all down his leg to the open wounds. I got the hose and attempted to wash it off, he limped away and I had not seen him again that day. This morning he is laying under the steps barely moving, flies everywhere. So, I did what I knew had to be done, and put him out of his misery. Had to dig a hole to bury him in this fine earth here, fucking clay. That was fun.

Anyways, A sad day here...

sometimes you have to put them out od there misery. one time at my brothers house we had a cat that was hanging around it had some wounds and we cleaned it up but it never got better. After a few days we checked it out again and it had maggots inside of it's tail. So he shot it in the head.

Sorry to hear man. At least you gave the dog a good home for a few months. Probably the best time of his life.

did you take him to the vet to find out what was wrong with him? Maybe he had an infection or something?

Sounds like he had some wounds that were infected and rotten thus the flies. theyre attracted to open wounds to lay eggs into.

Exactly what happened, he was nearly dead this morning, I just ended the suffering.

Damn thanks debbie downer. Me and the wife had to put down my parent's dog on Thanksgiving. Sad shit. Props for putting it out of it's mysery. That sucks shit.

My uncle used to have an Albino Pitbull. That dog was so freaking awesome. Snow White fur, pink nose, cropped ears and blue/grey eyes.

It kept developing skin infections, he would take it to the vet and they would give it antibiotics and treat the open wounds. They would not heal, it got to a point where the dog was in constant pain, and in the middle of the night the dog started crying incessively really loud it was in pain and it wouldnt stop.

My uncle took him out back, chained him up, and put a .38 round to its head.

30 minutes later it woke up and started crying again. he went out and gave it another one. and stilll it wouldnt die. He finally unloaded the revolver and put it out of its missery.

This was in mexico mind you, there are no 24hour pet hospitals like they have here.

that'd be tough. i've always been brought up with lots of pets. i don't know if i could do something like that.
