The wife's uncle gave us this dog. We think its a mix between a chihuahua and a dachshund. We call the breed "Chiweenie" Her name is Zoey.

Oh, and she's a fucking crackhead.

Now she's a little over a year old and 65lbs, which is a little larger than this breed is supposed to get.

With other dogs:

Great breed, don't care what anybody says.

Thinking back, I should have spelled her name Mauly just to fuck with people, oh well.

Thanks, Mike. Sounds like a dog that is independant and needs to be worked with against it's will. I'm more interested in independant but can be trained - no strings attached. The girlfriend has a 3 legged mutt right now that's spent the last seven hours laying on my feet keeping them warm (I'm sick as hell laid up in bed) and doesn't expect much out of life, I kind of like that in a dog.

Robb's ChiWeenies gets bonus points for being cute but the dog acts like a crackhead and is a huge pest sometimes; only really calms down when you are alone with it and then it needs semi-constant socialization. Great animal, but an eye opener as I don't think anyone should own a dog like that unless they are retired/homemaker and can spend all day with it.

What happened and how much is the insurance?

I'm surprised my dog hasn't broken a leg yet the way she jumps...then lands. There's been a few times she landed awkward and wouldn't stand on it, then would be back to normal the next day.

We have insurance for our dog. He had to get cut open about 2 1/2years ago and have his bed taken out of his guts. $3k later

ive never had anything liek that happen to my dog. the worst thing he did was ate a medicated tea bag for when your sick and had a bad allergic reaction to something in it. his paws and face puffed up real bad. he couldnt even open his eyes. took him to the vet, and they told me to give him chewable childrens benadryl and rub neosporin in his eyes till they clear up. he was better in a few days but his eyes never fully recovered. its kinda like he has catyracts now, kinda cloudy. he can still see just not as good as he used to

JKC registered Long haired doxin. Koko. The only dog to ever fucking bite me is this 10 pound pile of shit.

And then we have Yoshi. He is a bad ass dog. Mother was JKC, Father was not, though still purebred long haired doxins.
