Since everybody has a pic thread, I figured we'd start one too. :p

This is our honda front facing manifold with matching FMIC (street version):

this is the race version:

This is an evo front face (street version):

Here is a Kia we're working on. He had us make a turbo kit for the Kia powerplant but later on decided he wanted to be "Powered by Honda!" So we opted for a built LS/vtec with a full blown turbo kit.

am i the only one that doesnt get the front facing turbo setups? i understand getting the air forced into the turbo, but it it worth the tight bends in the downpipe?

im not trying to bash, i just dont see how the benefits outweigh the restrictions.

the quality of work is badass though. cant beat a kia with honda power. lol

i guess i dont understand the point of a "street" forward facing turbo setup? a street setup shouldn't involve you worrying about sucking a fucking bird into your turbo

I guess the question would be how much water is bad? Sure if you drive the car into the lake that would be enough to be bad. Alot of people claim water injection is the second coming.

I have zero experience with WI, but.....

My understanding is that if the water isn't atomized well enough, then it can damage the compressor wheel.

water/meth injection is supposed to be post turbo anyways.

front facing "street setups" are stupid, IMO, but you build whatever the customers want to pay you to build them so i can knock you for anything. nice fab work either way. im probably going to be doing a front facing DSM setup some point in the coming months, but for a race car.
