So, about 3 months ago I got a parking ticket when i went down to the space needle in Seattle. It was at night and im not used to pay for parking since im from a smaller city then seattle and (my brother told me to park there.)
So, about an hour later I come back and there a little envelope under my cars windshield wipers. $38 dollar parking ticket and $25 late penalty if not paid within 15 days. It had my license plate on there and make was Nissan Coupe, (I have a del sol)
I just said fuck it and threw that shit away.
Today I get a letter from a collection agency, states that I got to pay $63 dollars for that shit.
Went on their website, type in the reference number and it says the ticket has been paid in full.
I was like WTF???
I give them a call and they told me that there was an error in this ticket procedure and everything was canceled because when they ran my plate at DMV later to file for collection, the make of car didn't add up to what was on the ticket. It threw them out a Honda Civic Del Sol when the car they saw was a nissan. So, the operator told me the letter should have never been sent and ticket officer put down the wrong license plate number on the ticket.
I said HOLY SHIT over the phone, told the fucker to have a nice day and enjoyed free parking from over three months ago.
I'm bored and wrote this shit cause at first it fucked up my day when I checked the mail, and 10 minutes later I'm more happier. BTW: All decals and emblems were removed about a week before when I was doing some body work.
From now on, all the emblems and sticker of car make/model are removed from every car I have.
