FABLAD
« on: October 17, 2009, 01:05:19 AM »

got a solid daily driver now, and decided i'm parting out my built b16 holset powered '96 civic ex coupe, everything but the boost parts that will transfer over, and building a little d-series EF.

goodnight sweet prince.

this is the LS/VTEC GSR i'm driving now.. black leather interior.. cold a/c. not sure how I made it this long without a/c in this Florida heat.

I shaved the spoiler, filled the holes using  jbweld, which is now the strongest part of the car  :mexi:

updates on the dirty d will ensue. that is all.

ps. I will make some merciless burn outs and ripper vids before I officially start parting the coupe. I've owed them for awhile.

Why hasn't anyone got a FAKLAD/FABLAD plate yet? I think I might go down and get a FABLAD plate, it's like $50  :mexi:

also, B16a has to be the worst honda engine to work since 1988. the thing has no torque, making it nearly impossible to drive comfortably around town where it's stop and go. Even though the integra isn't boosted, it drives around town so much better.

does anyone have an EF shell they can donate around North Florida?  ;D

thanks. yeah the integra is much more baller than the coupe, by a large margin. it's easy to notice they put a lot more effort into designing the teg. 96-00 civics seem like they have generic interior compared to the teg and even 92-95 civics; just an observation.

hahah, yeah well, that  O0 fisted his cylinders with boost

The GSR was originally my gf's beater, but when my son was born we went in 50/50 on a '01 toyota sienna for her paid in cash, and the Integra has been sitting since, so it's mine now (she's signing it over). The car is pretty close to mint condition. The rings are worn, but I have two spare LS blocks. it only smokes if I floor it so i'm fine for now. it does its job and I ride in comfort  :noel:

I'd do it in a minute, but the OG was FAKLAD, and that doesn't apply for my car. I'll just wait for JD to come up with a new saying like "I'm gay" or something.

I think Stealthmode has a few children in some of his socks. I picked up one of his socks thinking it was mine and it was crunchy. Now I spend all day wondering what the hell might be laying eggs under my fingernails.
