Fucking remove that shit.

You want to be a bitch?  go to craigs list and sell it.

But more to the point...

My Ebay T3T4 is fucking awesome lately.

On my AWD/2WD =1 spins in front/1spins in rear
since I have no lsd, I was spinning 1st, 2nd
ANNNNNDDDDDD 3rd on a wet pavement.  Yes I admit wet pavement.
but still, better traction than anyone else!

Its hitting boost @ 4000-4300 (24 psi) and damn, its fucking
winter, no more drag days till march.

gonna try to get some vids tommorrow if I can get my young 18 year old
gay boy to get in the front seat with me.

My T3/T4 ebay special is finally dying.   But I blame it on running 26-28 psi and then blowing the fuck out of #4 cylinder and running huge amounts of water contaminated oil through it down the 1/4 mile....

Still works awesome though!  Just smokes on occasional deccelleration.

Well, it is still boosting to 25psi or so.  I can live with the very occasional smoke for now.....

Gonna take it to the track this coming weekend and see how the new motor holds up....

Supra dudes and nissan six shooter dudes love the $200 and under t70.

No bullshit.

I think it's a good recommendation to atleast send the new turbo off to get balanced.

Could be an indication as to why they fail at higher boost?  Shitty balancing leads to bearings eating themselves to death and then wheels hitting housings.   Lack of oil and shitty workmanship will do that to but you get what i'm saying.....

I too have also heard this, a buddy of mine is running two of these things on his twin turbo carbed 70s T/A.  Ran 9s iirc

This is the worst thread ever on this site.  You've managed to tell me something anyone with common sense has known for 10 years.  Amazing how the information hasn't changed a lick.

eBay turbos are hit or miss.  Sometimes they work great, sometimes they fail immediately.  The build quality and quality control on them is completely hit or miss.  Turbos spin fast and are subject pretty harsh conditions.  Suggesting some $200 unit from China is equal to a properly engineered part that costs $600 is insane.  If you want a $200 turbo, go buy a used one, or throw the dice and see what you get from eBay.

In the end, if you idiots continue to discuss this topic, it just shows your level of stupidity.  It should be completely obvious to anyone with any common sense that if you want these turbos to be more reliable, you should check to make sure they are within proper specs.  It's old news.  Why is rebuilding an OBX LSD logical, but checking the specs on a $200 chinese turbo a new thought?

wat

A diff only spins (it's gears, internally) a little here and there, and the case rotates at just 2k RPM for a short time at the end of a full pass (24" slick, 130mph+). A turbo will spin a few thousand at idle, and winds-up near 100k rpm a several times per pass, and for most of that 1/4 mile.

I vote for $670 real Garrett 50trim t3/t04e stg3 with a .78ar divided ATP housing. aptuning.net is where I'm ordering mine next week. FYI they're really cheap on lots of other things too, hopefully they pan out for me.
