I already have tool to do this a fencing pliers/cuters.

Mine is a little bigger and only has one crimp on it. ;D

I've seen ppl use a vise grips with welded lumps and a valley ground on the other side, but this is freakin awsome. Next time I have some tubing, I'll give it a shot, except it will be way overbuilt. I want to do stainless next...

You'll want to grind the galvanization off the washers. Or be a real man, use fluxcore, and breath those fumes in deep.

I just went and grabbed a thicker stainless steel washer and it welded perfect

I just wrap the pipe with a peice of Filler rod, and tack it in a few places>
