i still say BMW V12 if different is the goal with power being 2nd. power being 1st, 2jz sounds pretty good. ls1 doesnt sound too bad if different doesnt matter at all

He wanted to be different, so it's different and AWD.

And parts are readily available in the US for RB engines, where do you think I get mine?

But they are not consistently priced.  $500 cranks are not fluent.

I like R32s and R34s, and hate Mk4 Supras (as well as it's R33 soul sister), but I'm with Robb that the 2JZ is a better engine.

The wife drives an 07 trailblazer LT, and for being a 4wd 5000lb pig, the 4.2 I6 makes that fucker MOVE! To bad it handles like a 5000lb chevy. I love it though. The drivetrain in them is great. And Johny they are 6's it was the smaller gm trucks that got the I5

But I know It dosent have irs, So you would have to come up with something else. But if you were to make it breath it would go good, add a little boost and it would be bitchen. And its supported by HP tuners.

240sx rear... much like the piece that's sitting in my gf's parents' yard.

Your gf's parents have junk cars/parts laying in their yard?  Fuck yeah.  She was brought up right.  8)

Uhhh yeah.  Car trailer in the corner, bobcat next tot he shed, about 4 lawnmowers (3 without wheels), one of those hard truck bed covers for a Ford (they have all Chevys), crx in the garage, 63 vette in the garage, half an Apexi dunk exhaust behind the shed with my 240sx rear, and my heap of barely running shit parked out front.  The place is a high tech redneck version of sanford and son.

Sounds cozy.

What about an Infinity M45 ?

Initial look is promising.  Better power than the equivalent LS430 for the same year and mileage, as well as being about 30% cheaper.

Exactly my thoughts.
