yea, car fell on it's face soo bad.. I stayed in it tho!!

But this past Wed i took a trip up to my tuner and fixed all my little gremlings

*got the Antilag sorted out ( it was due to a bad wire in the TPS clip)
*got the boost by gear fixed also
*made a bracket for this huge external coil that was being held in place by a tonn of zippy ties b4, lol
*Put a few more pounds of boost in the ol girl

Tried to make it to Englishtown for some Test n Tune and go 10's and it rained righttt as they were about to open teh gates..

Might go Islang this Sunday or lay the car up till Fall Nationals.

pix will be up later.. i'mm spare you guys the dyno pulls since "you know who" is in the shot.

We also made a camera bracket for some incar shots.. So that should be fun.

This was my qualifying pass on Sunday 10/4/09 (so don't mind the late light)lol

15psi (1st and 2nd), 16psi (3rd and 4th).. i lifted about 40 feet b4 the trap because i felt like i was going wayy too fast for 11.50 index.

11.1@127mph was the result (so i had to go with my 12.0 pass from Sat to qualify, since this pass was trown out)

Yea man, it's been a long time coming.!!

I have to say this car is funnnnn to drive!! It's almost too EZ to drive!!

I know for a fact it will go 10.80 at this power. It would have went 10's on that pass, but i was actually trying to keep the car slower than 11.50. Had a shitty 1.768 sixty foot.

My best to date was a 1.59 sixty foot AT ISLAND!!!!!! (this was when the tire was a lil newer, it's starting to fall off, i can't get anything better than a 1.65 sixty foot now.

I'll get new tires next week and head back out, if the car cuts a 1.62 sixty or better it will go 10.80 or faster all out and driving like i stole it.

i'm driving to Pa to get a pre-bent cromoly 10 point for i think $400.. and a local shop is going to weld it in for $400.

They said $1000 if i they provide everything.

The car dosent spin too much, i seen to get the power down pretty well. Alll of my 60 foots have been 1.6? and one 1.7

But i should have a traction bar next week.

After the cage goes in i will start cutting weight . I have a lott of stuff to take out the car without cutting anything.. (AC evap box, rear bumper support, rear seat belts,some sound material, smaller battery, some CF parts, and get skinnies )

Once i get the weight down, I want to weight the car down on the traction bars. (i need the car to be 2400lbs with me in it to compete)

The boost solonoid is doing it's job.. As of now i'm knocking on 10's door with only about half the power in the car. I have another 12psi on tap.. ;D

I will find out sooon enough if the boost by gear will be enough!! lol

I have a $$ run with a 91 Ecplise at next Wed or Friday's Test n Tune at Etown.. Pot starts at $3000.

I'll be running
15psi in 1st
17psi in 2nd
22psi in 3rd
and 26psi in 4th

Should be fun!! lol

went out to Englishtown yesterday and let me tell you "Holyyy slick downsss"..

ANY and ALL kinda of misshaps happened yesterday

a car hit the wall, a ton of cars broke (no hondas) and oiled the wholeeeee track, and a car even ran into the sandtrap !!

Anyway, i got 2 passes in 6 hours (YES 6 hours. I don't know how, but they kept the track open till 12am). My lass pass was at 11:49pm

Best i could pull off was a 11.0@126 (15psi in 1st and 2nd, 16psi in 3rd and 4th). It was cold out, and it actually spiked a bit to 16.8-17psi in 3rd and 4th.

But i gained 3 mph in the 1/8th and lost 2 mph in the 1/4 over my 11.1 pass

.. The car also broke up then bogged on the 1-2 shift. I'll post video soon.

this was suposed to be a 10 sec pass. I had one more pass for the night. So i figured i'd grow a pair and turn the boost up. I think i over did it $:-\$

All hell goes wrong when i try to turn the boost up..

This is the pass last pass from Wed.. i was not data logging on this pass. So i don't really know whats going on.

My guess is boost cut. Look at the boost gauge , it's wayyy past 20psi (the gauge is a 20psi boost gauge). Boost cut is set at 28psi if i remember correctly.

After that pass, i put the 15/16psi chip back in and all went back to normal.

I'll be back out on a better higher boost tune , i think it will be better in boost by gear.. that was most likely 28psi in every gear.

Butttt that was one of my best 60 foots.. 1.62 ftw!!!!!, it was all down hill after that tho, 330' was in the 5's lmaoo
