yeah i think it said it had 7 feet of travel and it was hydrolic actuated with a chain drive.  all steeming from a center mounted ford 9" with i think it was 5 something gears and an air locker.

Are those the the hydraulic cylinders on the inner sides of the wheels? If so I see those getting broken fast. Just looking at the video you can see some places where he almost hit them. I imagine a good hit of a rock to one of those will ruin your day.

Ive seen lots of chain t-cases go. But i suppose i should rephrase it. Chain drive usually requires a lot of maintenance. Lube the chain every ride, keep proper tension, change chain and chain wheels every season.

I was puzzled at why he'd want "hydraulics" at the beginning, then thought I knew when I saw the independant arms moving. But chain drive? Fuck, if he plans on doing crazy 4x4ing, he won't need speed, so a full hydrostatic setup would make far more sense. He could have done so many more things with a hydrostatic drive. With decent drive units & lines, there's almost no maintenance involved.

Still, really cool for a RHM4x4...
