Im going to a prep school first then playin d1 or 1aa football, plus getting recruited out of the the North East didnt help me out much being kind of undersized. So one more year of football to develop etc I will be good to go. Looking at Duquesne, William and Mary, Richmond, Robert Morris, Kent State and a few others. Ill make my descision in the winter because ill start college second semester and get ready for spring ball.

So I went to Marc's (lilpoohs) shop to pick up my chipped ECU and he had some pretty nice stuff a L/Vtec lookin kinda sexy i was there for the startup wasnt thinking to catch a video.




One day ill money up to have some shit like that!

But this is why Marc hasnt had any build updates lately he's to busy working on this bad boy!

We finished earlier today and it was a great day not to many hassles at all actually. Tomorrow tune with Marc (Lilpooh). The wastegate spring is only running 5psi but i have a 1st to 2nd gear pull video that youll be able to see it was kind of up hill coming onto this bridge. It's ok. But im running the stock ecu with stock injectors not even a basemap, so I didnt wana do anything more then that very quickly even though it was on a strict 5psi. Right now I have a lot of pictures for you for the day rippers will come tomorrow with the final tune on 10lbs!

This was beginning of the day the money shot for both builds!



Started off with putting in an XTD clutch that i got on the cheap.



OEM Clutch, not too bad, but wasnt lasting much longer.


The new clutch, well used but new to me, it was from Drivin96 he put less then 1000 miles on it, so he basically just broke it in for me!





Eventually we moved onto the drivers side of the charge piping. It worked out nice, its a pretty clean and tight setup IMO.





Then we started working on the oil lines etc...


Yeh Fram is baller

Oh yeh, and while doing the tranny we put the rear mount in from Innovative.


Then we mounted up the turbo shit!




Ghetto rigged the downpipe its temporary until i weld that up either tomorrow or until i get back from VA...for now it works!



But then finally we finished and I was more then relieved!!!! We started at about 10 AM, and finished basically around 4-5 PM so it wasnt to bad! But because i was more then happy i had a SUPER HAPPY photo shoot! Chuck made me were the Rah Tod cone helmet because i was the student and am "dumb"..... haha






But here is the final product!

Im itching for this tune...also this wastegate spring is 4psi.....FUCK EBAY!!!! So i tried putting washers in there. 4 thick washers probably abount an inch thick of washers and it jumps up to 5psi.....Ugh, such a let down. I need a boost controller pronto! 8 and a half more hours till the tune, this day cant go any slower. Quick rant, this turbo is to big for this motor it seems, it spools so SLOW and late, also im starting to rethink if I should have even but such a light flywheel in the car. But, my thinking was if the engine revs faster it would compensate for the lost weight, who knows. I think im going to set the rev limit to 8k though....anyone what to convince me not to?

Turns out i had a boost leak at the BOV because it was tightened up all the way....10lbs here we go!

So i just arrived home from the Tune!!! It went really good...simple street tune on Crome 9lbs tapers and settles at 7.5lbs thats the best i could do with no boost controller, the tune itself in car driving time probably took between 35-45 minutes. Only problem we ran into was putting the Prescsion injectors on and fitting them into the Z6 manifold, as the head of the injectors were to wide so we had to grind them down a bit. Once we got that and setup things went great Rippers below. Dont mind the quality as for some of them i was trying to drive shift and film all at same time, and Marc was trying to hold his computer and film at the same time on one as well. Overall A+++ in my book!

Only problem we ran into was putting the Prescsion injectors on and fitting them into the Z6 manifold, as the head of the injectors were to wide so we had to grind them down a bit.

I use 75# Delphi/Precision inj. and never had to grind on any thing. I lubed up the o-ring w/ dielectric grease for the fuel rail end. (no leaks)

The IM ends I keep the big o-rings (that came with them) on, lube and worked the stock IM seals on. Then insert the injectors and rail assembly into the IM.

Then bolted everything together. No fuel, vac., or boost leaks. ;D

it was weird i have never run into this problem my self it was the end of the injector where the pintel cap usually is was to wide to fit the dseries intake mani b/c it had a small lip on it in the inside but all was well after the fact.

Yeh it pulls nice, thanks to Marc, he did his thing! Big Shout out to Chuck (Towdogg) once again big help on this. Real smooth build and process everything went great, cars real nice and i got to beat the piss out of it all night yesterday on my ride home! Now cars going to just chill while im playing some ball down in Virginia. I have one more video ill post from this morning i took but ill do that when i can its basically the same nothing special. Thanks for the compliments i enjoy the criticism and FUCK ALL! My next build is going to be bigger and better!  :yes:
