so 5th gear is toast, have a new set of gears and synchro from a trans at the junkyard. gonna swap it in soon.

otherwise, no progress, been driving the hell out of it.  since you clicked here, I might as well post some porn.

So the damn thing is sitting in the field, won't start, have fuel pressure, megasquirt is telling the injectors to fire, it is running batch fire, and checked for voltage while cranking, and it is pulsing power to the injectors, but won't start.  Spray carb cleaner in it, and it will start, but dies when it runs out of carb cleaner. What are the odds all four injectors died/stopped up at the same time?  The gas in it is a few years old, it had been started about a month ago.

Swap in some fresh fuel.

so I got around to swapping in the 550cc injectors I had bought when i decided that I would end up being E85 friendly.  it started right up, ran about 10 seconds, and died.  I was so happy for like 9 seconds.  turns out it was just running on the fuel I spilled while swapping the injectors.  I'm pretty sure that mice chewed on some wires somewhere in the harness.
