Well, I tweaked dthe fuck out on the straightcut box setup and Got errythang figured out to put it back together by the weekend.
dropped off a gear to a machinist buddy of mine to have him polish a thrust surface as I t looked like it got hot and I didnt want it to fuck itself up so I also put NEW collars in it.
I cant lose this set so I wanted to make sure EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.... I have pretty muc got all of it ready to go together, jsut need to go pickup the gear from him after work tomorrow and setup IS lash.
JUST in case Got a tranny from mitch all in parts thrown in a box with a bench ground countershaft that wouldnt fit initially so he ground it down , a blown up 3rd gearset I replaced and a LOT of other darkness involved. Its very black, but If i cant get the strights done (Prety sure i can, I have Friday off and I know a guy with a shop with EVERYTHING I could POSSIBLY need to get this fucker diealed correctly a block from my house. Tranny shop . IF i need any shims or whatever, theyll have them.
Bottom line is that Im putting all oem syncros in it but 5th, Running RP for the day to break the set in and submerging he entire stacks in lubvricant before ssembly to make SURE everything is SUPER SLICK.
Im pretty sure the Straightcuts will be in it,
