Its running!

What a fucking pain. I had to trim the block a bit.

Originally how I was going to run the charge piping. Didn't work liked plan.

Here's my ported f22a6 manifold

And

complete

Its been running for a week I had a shit ton of boost leaks but its good meow.
I traded a ported f23 manifold and cash for some HiProfile 800cc's Injectors and its running pretty quick. I'll post a video one day.

It just makes sense, in a Civic/teg they're almost like bigblock D/B's. Considering this car has an OEM manifold/turbo/DP elbow on it, this shit can easily give the original HF manifold setups a run for their money. I really want to see how steve's f22 spools the evo turbo with his divided evo manifold.

That's what I tell everybody lol. Just picked up a sureflow 12v diaphragm pump, a solenoid, full throttle switch and a nozzle for $0.00, so poor mans water meth is going on soon.

A hobbs switch or ecu-operated general purpose output would finish it off nicely. If you aren't boosting the shit out of it, I doubt you'll really need it. You'll probably max out the pistons' ringlands from cylinder pressure before the fuel detonates - presuming you aren't greedy with timing.

I was thinking about a hobb switch...I'm super greedy with timing. I really don't need it but it's not going to hurt anything as long as the solenoid works as its supposed to. I really need to vent the crankcase.

Any updates?

Took all the stickers off, roof rack off and got some steel wheels with one gay center cap.
Sucked in screen mesh. Had to re do the valve seats. Sometime in September?
Fuel pump took a dump. September?
Then map sensor took a shit. Early October
Motor started to lose compression now its running on three cylinders. Mid October.
Got a New job at the local toyota stealership in teh parts department. November.
Head is off. I'm going to slap some rings in a f22b1 and swap this hoe out. Present day.

Hows the hood clearnace?  Nice build.

Ummm pretty good. I had to switch to a newer oil cap and shave it down. I have about a 1.5" risers on it. I also trimmed some of the ribbing out from underneath the hood.

My f23 was free. Customer faked a headgasket failure (oil in the radiator) to get out of paying for the car. Dealership swapped the engine and I got the "core".

Fuck, best I can find for an F23 is $350. I can damn near order one from Japan for that price.

Right now I want one to stuff in a 2000 Lude I got for cheap, if the h22 head & block are warped. Speaking of that, how likely is it the block or head on an H22 warped from blowing the gasket via overheat?

Pretty rare, I've never had anything warp badly enough that a new gasket and correct torque sequence wouldn't seal it up again but YMMV. I've also never had to take more than a few thou at most when resurfacing a head or block.

I have a J35 I picked up in a similar way. Timing belt broke, but somehow didn't bend any valves. Now if I could only afford the tranny for it
