so i picked up this truck

2000 silverado 2500 light duty.

6.0, 4l80e, 14 bolt rear, 212k miles young!

pulled the evap, isntalled a IAT sensor since im removing the maf

3 bar map from EFI source

twin walbro 400s in the tank

twins!

started the tear down

custom cam from martin @ tick performance

80lb injectors

alum 317s with pac 1218 springs

pulled the 4l80e for some work

circle D triple bilelt lockup

meth kit in the stock washer fluid tank

removed the clutch fan and installed LS1 fans

intercooler piping

out on 12psi valentines day
2-14-13 12 psi in the 2500

idle video
2-15-13 cold start and work truck idle

Info on the water meth setup, pump, lines, nozzles, location of nozzle before or after turbo, hobb switch being used or not.

it was a base cooling mist kit off ebay.
i set it at 6psi hobb switch that came with it
single nozzle, i dont even know what size, you can see it right there before the 90 into the throttle body.

Fuck yea! I been thinking of turbo'ing my 03 yukon (same motor). More info on the iat/3bar? Also with the turbo mounted in that location how do the return lines look?

its a buick 3800 sensor and pigtail out of a junkard, thats where i get all my sensors when i do megasquirt builds,

the 3 bar and pigtail is from EFI source, its like 40~ shipped.

i have a turbowerx scavenge pump pushing the oil back to the oil fill cap in the valve cover.

nope i just got it together the other day, built it in about 2.5 weeks start to finish, had some problems with my wastegates getting stuck open haha!

my girl has the 5.3 was thinking of what to do with it. 4wd is beast, lol.

Theres a guy out my way with a 5.8 i think it is. With corvette heads and twin turbo etc etc idk all the details of his build but i do know that at 60mph in 4wd he blisters all 4 tires. First time i seen him do it i thought he blew the motor there was so much white smoke

yeah i bought it with 211,866 or so. and immediately turbo'd it

its over 212 now haha
i have only had it 4 weeks now

i was out beating up these drilled chinese wastegates, they are holding boost great.
