What was the purpose of drilling out the chinese wastegate?  I guess I've gotten used to my unmodified Tials.

A buddy of mine who runs the crappy local dyno has an 04 1500 quad cab and had a similar setup on a stroked 6.0 bottom end along with LS6 heads (which are factory on the aluminum L33 block that came stock in the truck).  Full built internals he had the undermount turbo pushing 530 to the wheels but ditched the setup for a 75 shot because the truck was in boost while towing and he didn't want to spend the money to upgrade the fuel system, now is at 550whp with spray.

Fastest truck I've ever been in, if not in 4wd high it just spins the rears.

Think he drilled the Wg, because it was hanging up and the valve was binding.

Right, so was it the guide shaft that the valve was sitting in that was expanding under heat or something?  I don't have any of those v-band gook boost WG's but I have an internal shot of my Tial 38mm

On the Tials the most I've ever done is remove that center bolt in the middle of the spring to let loose of the diaphragm to be replaced.  I saw in a pic on one of the previous pages where the valve was out so I'm assuming that it was the guide shaft that was binding??

they are the only time i have had any hang up.

out of tons of times i have used em. oh well

5-29-13 quick 2nd gear roll 14psi

truck gets good traction on 14psi, when its hot out and i have 31 inch tires on out back, if i ease into 2nd, amazing it hooks up that good, because if i get it lit i can spin them for what seems thousands of feet lol

i stopped watching after a couple pages (10?), gave up reading the LS pages, and try to concentrate on my current rides going together rather than another car lol.
