Its been running great lately so I've been taking it out to cars n coffee in Eldorado hills CA showing it off. Now that the engine is done its time to focus on awesome cosmetics. Getting some DeVille taillights fitted. Also datalogged a 0-100 pull and it seems slow. 0-40 in 4.0, 0-60 in 5.6, and 0-100 in 9.8 . The green line on the top graph is tps trying to get the tires to hook.

4.10 ford 8.8. It's a ford spec TKX, I'll have to look the gearing up. Tires are 275/40/17 RT660s I don't think there's a single Edelbrock part lol I have: Holset HE341, Deatswerks, injector dynamics, Tial, Nissan(sentra,240sx, 280zx) Ford(Explorer, Bronco II, Mustang II, Mustang sn95, Pinto, Escort ZX2, Grenada), Dodge(charger, durango), Honda(civic, integra) Tremec, quartermaster, Chevy(s10, s10 blazer, C10) wilwood, fusion5, DIY autotune, mercedes(eclass), Porsche(Boxter), Aeromotive, Mazda (Miata, Capella), Audi(r8), Kia(Sportage, Sophia), Cadillac (DeVille), BMW(325i) there may be more but I think that covers most of it.

If you have tuner studio I can upload the datalog

The bronco 2 tilt column did not like not having power steering and it blew out all the joints and bushings. Used a piece of the roll cage tubing to make a new one.

Machined up some misalignment spacers to convert my poly 4 link to heim joint. It took all day but damn is it easy to make adjustments now. I even got some time lapse of the lathe work.

Most sport trucks keep the wheels in the fenders and don't use flares much. I'm so indecisive on how I want the truck to look and I'm not artistic at all so getting what's in my head into a physical shape is hard

Only way to do it and make it look right is to try to replicate the existing fender just drawing the lines out enough to get the flare you want.

After several iterations of the wide body shapes, I came to the conclusion that the truck just isn't wide enough for the look I'm after. I went back to steel flares but a different shape than the old ones to make sure they clear the tires, they're an inch wider and 2" shorter. There's a lot of finish work left to make them seamless but I'm loving the look.

Finally got rid of the temporary plastic piece that's been filling the gap between the radiator and intercooler on #superterd. It's only been there 7 years

Put a bike rack in the bed of the truck. It needed to be elevated up on the fender cause my RIPMO is longer than the bed.

Upgraded my idle air control. Went from 3/8" to 5/8" hoses and have the air valve dumping straight into the manifold instead of through the brake booster vacuum port. The IAC is for a 2000 Mustang GT.

Did this IAC mod improve drivability?

I understand the issue with sharing plumbing with brake booster, so I guess braking got better?

I never had a brake booster, there was no room with my master cylinders being reverse mounted under the dash. The booster port was just the biggest port I had on my manifold. Idle is way more responsive now. It went from a foot long 3/8 hose on each side of the old valve to a foot long 5/8 hose before the IAC valve which now dumps directly into the manifold. I'm still working out the settings to get the idle perfect, but I can at least drive it with the a/c on without stalling.
