Many wealthy people give to good causes without the government making them do so. Some own soup kitchens, others hospitals. Something else to think about.

Employment offered healthcare comes typically at a reduced wage to offset its cost. The actual cost is reduced due to the number of insured within the company, therefore the wage is not reduced as much as it would be had you come out of pocket on a individual insurance plan
